Eliminating Problem Areas With Noninvasive Body Sculpting

Noninvasive Body Sculpting, MedWeight, truSculpt ID, Lasers & Wellness Centers

If you want a great body that you can show off at the beach this summer, now is the right time to get serious. Eating a balanced diet and following an exercise plan helps you lose weight and develop the muscles you want.

However, most people have problem areas that don’t respond to diet and exercise. Patients often tell us that they retain certain areas of fat no matter what they do.

When you reach the limits of exercise and diet, Dr. Allan Wu often recommends noninvasive body sculpting. The team at MedWeight, Lasers & Wellness Centers uses truSculpt®️ ID radiofrequency technology for a nonsurgical solution to stubborn fat.

Common problem areas of the body

Your genetics largely dictate which parts of your body retain fat, even when you lead a healthy lifestyle. Some of the most common problem areas include:

No matter how much you exercise, your upper arms may always look flabby or your waistline may always have a layer of fat that covers your six-pack abs. Noninvasive body sculpting offers an effective option when diet and exercise fail to give you the definition you want.

How noninvasive body sculpting works

There are several types of body sculpting technologies. At MedWeight, Lasers & Wellness Centers, our truSculpt ID device uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to kill fat cells forever. The RF energy essentially heats the targeted fat cells and causes them to die.

During the procedure, an applicator is moved over your skin at your problem area — the energy passes through the skin without damage. The truSculpt ID applicators come six paddles about 2½ inches by 2½ inches. Together we can treat small areas like your upper arms or larger areas like your abdomen. Six paddles at once treats about ½ the size of a sheet of paper in one 15 minute procedure.

You will notice warmth. Patients rarely say that the sensation is uncomfortable. The typical treatment lasts 15 minutes. And you can schedule multiple areas during your treatment.

What kind of results can you expect from truSculpt ID body sculpting?

A number of factors influence the results of your truSculpt ID treatments. In many cases, patients lose 24% of fat in the treated area after just one session. Granted, you don’t see the results immediately. It takes up to three months for your body to naturally eliminate the killed fat cells.

You can expect your first treatment to show you some improvement. You see even more results after your second treatment. We recommend patients wait 12 weeks before getting a second treatment on a treated area. The waiting period gives your body time to eliminate the treated fat.

That’s one of the reasons we recommend planning ahead. If you want to look your best during summer vacation this year, now is a good time to schedule your first noninvasive body sculpting session.

Are there other benefits to noninvasive body sculpting?

The primary benefit of our non-invasive body sculpting is that it works. You do get several other benefits, though. Patients say they love:
